In History we will be comparing maps to identify ways the land our school is on, has changed over time. We will also be drawing field maps to identify the current land uses and creating symbols and a key to show this. Our physical explorations will be in RE as well as Geography as we head over to Great Chart church to explore the features of a traditional Church of England church and how these link to baptism and the Trinity which is our RE focus. For Art we are learning about Zines and will be combining our Computing search skills and our Geography skills to create a zine about a country one of our parents is from. In Computing we will have stand alone publishing lessons to learn how to add images and adapt the font, colour and size of text. We will apply these new publishing skills to poems written in English to create visually exciting Winter poems.
For the second part of the term we will completing Missions that give us the opportunities to apply our newly learned skills to practical problems and to delve further into knowledge we have been gaining in different areas.
