The children will be taking part in lots of transition based activities, preparing them for their next chapter at secondary school and celebrating their achievements during their time at John Wesley.

Every Friday children will receive a piece of English and Maths homework to complete by the following Friday - it will always be what they have learnt that week and therefore should be able to be completed independently. We provide this homework so that children can consolidate their learning in the hopes this will enable them to retain the information/process for longer.
Spellings
Children will stick in their weekly spellings into their orange reading records ready to practise for the week. They are then tested on these spellings on a Friday morning.
