Term 3 Connected Learning

Our Connected Learning incorporates Science, History, Geography, Art, DT and Music. In Term 3, we will be studying the works of different 'Still Life' artists such as Cezanne and Van Gogh, and creating our own art work. In Science, we will study 'Everyday Materials' and using this knowledge to build a machine. Our in-depth study will focus on 'The Great Fire of London' in week 5, we will investigate why the fire spread so quickly. In ICT, we will focus on Programming and Algorithms. We will learn to understand instructions in sequence and how order can affect the outcomes. Our PE learning this term will help children to improve their core strength using apparatus. In RE, we will be studying 'Humanism' and answering the question, 'Who are Humanists and How do They Live?' In Music, we will concentrate on making a tune to describe the events of 'The Great Fire of London'.
