Term 3 Key Information

We have indoor PE on Wednesday afternoons.
We have Forest School on a Tuesday afternoon.
Our school trip to the Big Cat Sanctuary is on Thursday 5th February.

Term 3 Connected Learning

This term, our learning will focuses on the key question, 'Can we Save the Tiger?'. To fully explore this question, we will be learning about the environmental effects that have caused animal populations to decline to an endangered level. Our school trip to the 'Big Cat Sanctuary' will support our learning of these critical species and learn ways in which we can help their populations increase.

To complement our learning of endangered species, our Science will focus on the theme of, 'Living Things and their Habitats'.

Home Learning

Every Friday children will receive a piece of English and Maths homework to complete by the following Friday - it will always be what they have learnt that week and therefore should be able to be completed independently. We provide this homework so that children can consolidate their learning in the hopes this will enable them to retain the information/process for longer.

Spellings

Children will stick in their weekly spellings into their orange reading records ready to practise for the week. They are then tested on these spellings on a Friday morning.
