Term 6 Connected Learning
This term, our learning focuses on 'Caring for our World'. Our key text in English is 'The Hunter' which explores the ideas of poaching and caring for wild animals. We will be learning about the structure of a narrative to write our own African story based on 'The Hunter'. We will be focusing on our use of punctuation for effect. The Science learning this term focuses on human life cycles and development, which links closely to growing bodies and emotions in PSHE. Our History topic this term is Early Islamic civilisations, and we will be focusing on understanding where, when and how it spread in comparison to the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons. Our RE learning is closely linked, exploring the main beliefs of Islam.
