Term 6 Connected Learning
This term, our learning focuses on 'Caring for our world'. Our key text in English is the Hunter which explores the ideas of poaching and caring for wild animals. We will be learning about the structure of a narrative to write our own African story based on the Hunter. We will be focusing on our use of punctuation for effect. Our Science learning this term focuses on the human life cycle and the stages of development at each significant part of life which links closely to growing bodies and our emotions in PSHE. Our history topic this term is Early Islamic civilisations understanding where when and how the civilisation spread and why it was called the ‘Golden Age’. We then compare it to the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons time period in Britain called the ‘Dark Age’. In RE we will be learning about the main beliefs of Islam, how they worship and how the beliefs affect their actions in life.
